After using the CT-3441SB for 2 months I'm very pleased with it.
A tripod that is light weight and packs small is very important to me. I have a monopod that is 540mm when packed, which is 110mm longer than the Traveller fully packed in its bag. That combined with its light weight makes the Traveller tripod far more convenient to carry in a rucksack or under a camera bag. So I don't think twice about taking it with me.
It is a plain tripod and ball head, but nothing gets in the way. It takes 2 or 3 minutes to set up (depending on the ground). I'm an amateur photographer so I don't use it daily and speed of set-up is not the most important thing.
The important thing is its stability and that I've found to be excellent for its weight. (Hang a bag or rucksack underneath for additional weight.) A major irritation I've had with previous tripods has been having the camera in a portrait position as opposed to landscape. It holds a Nikon 801 with a 25 to 70 2.8 lens as solid as a rock. More often I use it with an Olympus E-510 which when used outside needs the tripod to be weighted to keep it firm.
If there is a negative side it is that the ballhead supplied as standard with the tripod will not be ideal for every occasion, and I may consider purchasing a different type of head in the future. (But you can buy the tripod without the head.)
I have every intention of keeping the CT-3441SB for a long time, and given the build quality expect a great deal of use from it.
