The new CT-3441SB-Rapid is a revised 4 section traveller carbon fibre tripod which inherits the superior specifications of our tournament grade tripods. Feisol have re-designed the leg section screw locks to operate without leg rotation, enabling all four sections to be loosened and extended with just one grip and twist operation. Metal components are CNC machined from solid blocks of aircraft grade alloy which together with high grade carbon fibre tubes provides an extremely light, rigid and strong tripod.
The CT-3441SB-Rapid has a maximum leg tube diameter of 28mm and is extremely stable. Load capacity is rated at 10kg and this will easily support a large consumer video camera or dSLR with medium telephoto lens attached e.g. 300 f/4 or 70-200 f/2.8. However, due to high load leverage associated with mounting and using large long prime lenses, we do not recommend this product for super telephoto use e.g. 400 f/2.8, 500 f/4 or 600 f/4. An angle lock between tripod base and legs provides quick adjust of the leg angle from 25/75/90 degrees through lever operation. The legs can also be flipped 180 degree upwards around the center column and ball head (included), achieving its 43 cm folded length. Note: The CT-3441SB-Rapid tripod is supplied with its legs folded around a partially extended centre column for compactness. Prior to use, the tripod legs should be flipped 180 degrees, so that the levers lock and support the legs correctly. Failure to do this will result in an unstable platform. This high quality and well engineered tripod is ideal for those looking for the ultimate affordable, sturdy and portable photographic platform. Specifications:

The CT-3441SB-Rapid can be used in combination with various optional accessories e.g. a ball head and a choice of tripod spikes.
