FeisolUK are proud to announce the new CB-40D ball head - a refined ball head that offers independent ball and pan locking controls, just like the medium sized CB-50D, but in a smaller package. 

All parts are manufactured using CNC machine tools to ensure precision, durability and sturdiness.

The CB-40D ball head utilises a dual-caliper style locking mechanism; one set locks the base plate and the other set locks the ball. This dual caliper style arrangement is unique to Feisol and it locks the ball and base plate tighter than other design.

The CB-40D is designed specifically for our medium tripods. When attaching the CB-40D to one of these tripods, our new tripod leg design will not touch the ball head knobs when the tripod is in its reverse folding position.

The CB-40D ball head includes a QP-144750 - Release Plate.

Please note that the CB-40 ball will faciliate the folding back of the legs on traveller tripods, however this assembly wil not fit in the supplied traveller bag. An alternative CT-3442 tripod bag can be purchased for this application. See our tripod bag section for more details.
